The Shire of Wyewood is a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).
The SCA is dedicated to the recreation of the Arts, Sciences, and Chivalry of the Middle Ages.
Wyewood is located south of the Barony of Madrone
and north of the Barony of Blatha an Oir,
within the Kingdom of An Tir.
In modern terms, Wyewood occupies southern King County (south of Seattle and north of Tacoma) in Washington, USA.
Wyewoodians are fun-loving and social people. We encourage newcomers to attend any of our activities or events which sound interesting. The Full Contact Social is a good place to start--you can talk to people, look at projects that we're working on, watch fighter practice, and find out who might know more about the particular subjects & activities that you are interested in. You can also check the Contact page to figure out who to contact about your interests. If you still feel shy, sign up for our email discussion list (instructions are on the contact page) and watch the discussions for a while. Come, talk, eat, and have fun. That's what Wyewood is all about (especially the eating part).
Scriptorium is returning! Click here for details.
