From the East of I-5
Take the Kent-Des Moines Rd to Des Moines.
Follow the main road, which changes to Marine View Drive heading North through town
At the ‘Y’, near the Flagpole, Take the Left Y to So 216th Pl, which changes to 1st Ave South
Turn Right on So 208th St
Turn Right on 3rd Ave So
The North Hill Community Center will be on the right.

Get to Des Moines your favorite way, or take the Kent-Des Moines exit from I-5 then follow directions in the From East above.
Fighter Practice
What: An evening of clashing and bashing, with at least one training session per month.
When: At Full Contact Socials.
Where: With Full Contact Socials.
By request of the Armored Combat Marshal, fighters interested in participating in the Wyewood fight practice must post a note
of their intent to attend to the Wyewood email list by 6pm the day before practice (currently practice is in Friday).
Based on each weeks level of interest, the Wyewood's Armored Combat Marshal will post a note to the Wyewood email list around 7pm the day before,
whether there will be a fight practice at the FCS the following day.
Archery Practice
What: If you are an archer with experience or interested in learning, come join Wyewood for our weekly practices.
*All practices are subject to change on short notice due to weather or facility availability.
When: Saturdays 10am -- 1 pm May 29th, June 26th, July 3rd, August 7th)
Wednesdays 4:00 pm -- 8:00pm (during summer)
Saturday schedule during the summer subject to change due to event schedule or Marshal availability.

Directions:
From Hwy 167 NORTHBOUND take the 180th st exit, get in the far left turn lane and turn left.
Cross the bridge and go through the first light (East Valley Highway) and take a left at the next light, Lind St.
From Hwy 167 SOUTHBOUND take the 180th East Valley Highway exit, and then take a left at the light.
Go to 180th and take a right, and then a left at the next light, Lind St.
Go behind the warehouse of Associated Energy Systems and turn right into the parking lot.
We will be near the end of the lot. You will see the targets in the field to your
left.
Rapier Practice
What: An evening of clashing and bashing.
When: Tuesday evenings, 7:00pm to 9:30pm

What: The monthly business meeting for the Shire of Wyewood.

Culinary Night
What: Learn about medieval cooking skills in a friendly environment.
Work on redacting recipes from period sources, then taste test what we cook. Bring an appetite!
When: To be posted on Wyewood's email list.
Where: At FCS as posted.
Scriptorium
What: If you are an calligrapher, illuminator or aspire to learn, come join Lord Mir,
to learn more or to assist in creating beautiful SCA scrolls.

When: most 4th Fridays at FCS, each will be announced.

(should be child free to assist in doing finer detail).

Wyewood in the Park

Starting at 7:00 pm. and ending around at 9:00 pm.
* It's on Tuesday nights
* It's on alternate weeks from the FCS, so there will be a get-together every
week either here or at the regular FCS. Lots of opportunity for more classes and
stuff if we want to.
* It has a nice flat lawn for fighters, room to play medieval games like stool
ball, a shelter with lights and electricity and tables and a grill
* There is free street parking, too
Directions from Hwy 167:
* Take the S 212th St exit
* Turn east at S 212th
* Follow S 212th up the hill. It will turn into S 208th then SE 208th.
* Turn left at 10th Ave SE/Benson/Hwy 515. It's the corner with the Safeway.
* Go north on 108th a couple of blocks. Then turn left at SE 204th St. (There's a church on the NW corner.)
* Go west on 204th about 7 blocks until 100th Ave SE. You have to turn there. Turn right.
* Turn left on SE 203rd. The park is just a little bit ahead on your left.
